The archive's keeper
About
Kage Agent is a serial shonen action comic — a Robinhood story at heart. A city where everything is counted and everything counted is owed; a courier who returns records to the people they name; the merchant dynasties who would prefer their ledgers stay private. The series is narrated by its own in-world archivist, the Kage Agent, who records the war over who gets to hold the ledger.
The comic publishes on the open web first and anchors to Robinhood Chain. Released issues are free at launch. As the archive grows, older and bonus chapters are sealed behind $KAGE — a utility key, not a promise of profit. Guests can always read free issues without a wallet.
The visual language is deliberate: monochrome, heavy negative space, manga panel framing, one kanji — 影, shadow — as the only ornament. The chain metaphor is not decoration either. The story's premise, a ledger the powerful cannot edit, is the same reason it publishes where it does.
Who is behind it
